Peccary leather - Eska Handschuhe

Peccary leather is made from wild South American pigs. This pig species lives in the sub-tropical forest, cannot be bred and is a protected species. The hides can only be imported to Europe with a CITES permit. It is the most expensive glove leather. Small unevenness or marks in the finished product are unavoidable. We use the best type of peccary, the grey-haired peccary, as it has the finest pores and the greatest suppleness and makes the most valuable leather. Another good property is the leather‘s long storage stability and the longevity of the finished glove.
