Lamb velours
The carefully selected lambskin provides a pleasant and cosy warmth in the cold season. The hides originate in New Zealand. Around 50% of newborn lambs die on the first day due to natural selection. These are collected daily for hygienic reasons and brought to the collection centres of the tanneries, where they are processed quickly. Only these hides are used fo the production of Curly leather, and the leather itself is tanned with the wool. The delicately curled natural wool of the lambskin is worn on the skin and replaces the lining. The loosening of the wool keeps the air stored inside, making this the ideal insulation, keeping hands warm and cosy.
